We decided to kill some time between filming and making a crappy behind the scenes video. This one is a little different from the rest. It has gun violence, puppet violence and camera violence. The stuff that dreams are made out of or what mythical creatures are made out of( you will think thats funny after you watch the video. Feel free to leave us a comment or a talk any smack you want..

Hectic Films Meeting about Badge 3!
Well since we have got such a great response from the Badge Episode 2 that we have started to meet up with the cast and make The Badge 3! We are also re-editing episode 2 to post The Badge 3 Directors cut. Poop produtions may also be joining the cast for episode 3. We have all really put our heads together on this one and hopefully the improv is still hot! We can also promise more explosions and gun fire in the action packed badge 3! Hectic Condors Games
We got invited to film Condor's Hockey games to post on the Bobblehead blog. We have just got our custom made puppet Soda and are thinking about using him as our interviewer. The preview for the New Videos will be up on the website and on the bobblehead blog. So keep checking back for more updates!
LORDS PROJECT UPDATE
Well if you come to this site often you know that we are working on our lords project and trying to rush to get it finished... The sad we will just finish filming it today.. Which means for headaches and rush/crunch time. We are doing our best to make it scary. Hopefully we will come out on top with this one, but who knows. We started a filming blog! I am not going to lie there we be some random posts about the adventures of hectic films. There will also be some inside stories about some of our bigger projects. UPDATES TO THE HECTIC FILMS VAN!
We just can't stop fixing up our new van! We just finished fixing down the outside and put a huge sticker on the side of it.. We are talking huge! Our friend Mario from VIGIL Designz hooked us up with a great deal on a sweet sticker! If you are looking for some good quailty hit him up click here to email him or call him at 661-339-5864. This guy does great work... Anyway also on our long trips around the world we managed to film another Hectic Films behind the Scenes! NEW BEHIND THE SCENES VIDEOS
As you probably have read through out the site Hectic Films is posting 2 behind the scenes videos a week! Thats right 2 a week. We are working on getting the audio up to date.. GREAT REVIEWS AT THE ART SHOW!
Well they played our scary short on the wall of the art show and people really did get scared. We didn't think we would get very good reviews on this short, but we did. People were turning their heads and then the crew sat down to watch it and we all started laughing! You know to film that short we ducked taped a camera to a mono pod in a 5 gallon water jug.. All of the three people that we in it film it! Crazy! You try checking out shots with your face covered in saran wrap! Opps we gave away a secret. LORDS CASTING CALL A SUCESS
Well for all that showed up to help us out we just wanna say thanks! We had a really good turn and hope to do something like that agian. We are really excited to get in on the contest. LORDS UPDATE!
Well as some of you know we are making a short to enter into the LORDS film contest... We have be warned that we will have our rears handed to us or in short... Blown out of the water.. We have lost many hours of sleep on countless nights and came to the conclusion... We could get some pretty cool things with a 1,000 bucks in our pocket! So we are going all-in to do some never before seen stuff.. We are going to try to break some new ground on this bad boy... We are even doing a casting call on this Thursday! The video footage recorded will be posted on our site for our competitors to really see what they are up agianst.. Who else is doing that? Who else is going to show you their secrets of their entry? The moment you have all been waiting for.... Fly on the Wall 2. We should have this second episode done very soon. It has some more cool special effects and some great music put together by some of the members from Throatshot, Blake and Rohan and their friend Mavis. It is going to unfold an little more story and make you want more. The Fly on the wall theory is going to drive you nuts!

Premiering for the first time at BIFF were many entries from Hectic Films, including the short film, “Medicated” on opening night (Stars Amanda Klawitter and Jason Sanders). Rickey Bird is an interesting young filmmaker and is just one of many people in the Hectic Films circle of up-and-coming moviemakers who all collaborate to make some really cool works of art. I met Rickey on day two of the Festival for an interview that will be on episode 36 of the Buck City Podcast. We talked about where Hectic Films is headed and about some of their production techniques.

The guys from Hectic Films make dark dramas, some tongue-and-cheek, with most productions including messages revolving around the corrupt and often psychosomatic American culture of drugs, murder, insanity and cops. "Medicated" is a short film that builds on the idea of mankind dependent on medication. Without medication, man’s views of the world are an illusory path of darkness and fear. We see this theme through the eyes of a character who wonders if he took his meds. Other Hectic Films entries included: "Karma Police", "Badge Part One", "Fly on the Wall: Episode 1", and a trailer for their feature film, "Daft".
I really dig “Fly on the Wall”, a piece you can watch on the Hectic Films website along with all the other episodes I mentioned. Fly is about someone who may have committed murder in his own home. Did he? Watch the video and come to your own conclusions.

Yep thats right. We are starting to make some music videos. Hopefully we will be starting the video for Throatshot soon. We spoke with some of the band members and we think we have a killer idea for their video. If you want your video to kick some rear. We just finished fly on the wall. Our new thriller/mystery. It should be up by next week. It is a story of a murder, but the question is who did it? This is going to be an on going series of episodes so try not to miss one! Oh yeah the fly on the wall series probably isn't good for the little ones.

We just got an article in the local South West Voice. One of the editor's asked us to write an article about ourselfs. So well we did. I have to give Brittany Bird most the credit because she re-worded a lot of what I said to make me look smart. The paper is free only if you live in Bakersfield. If you do live in bakersfield you should grab a copy and read it. We will be posting the article in on the website soon. But until then here is a list of where they have the newspaperin bakersfield. Find the one with the golden ticket and you may be able to go to the Hectic Films Studio in China. (Just kidding we really don't have a golden ticket)

We having been working very hard in trying to make the badge episode 2 better then all the rest of the badges... So because there is only one it really shouldn't be a problem.
